The brain, among all the organs of the body, is the greediest. It is vital to adequately nourish it with food for creative thoughts, positive mood, sharp memory and health and wellness in general. It is not surprising that what you eat affects your thinking, feeling, remembering, and possibly, increases your intelligence. If eating the best brain food would pave the way for us to become smarter, sharper people, then who wouldn't want to eat these foods? The following foods are brain-friendly foods that can help you concentrate, increase memory, tune sensory and motor skills, keep you motivated, speed your reaction time, stress control, and even slow the aging of brain cells.
Wholemeal Foods: Whole fiber food are good mind generators given that they consist of big ratios of folate. They may also greatly increase the the circulation of blood for the mental faculties. Also, almonds are rich in riboflavin, which is known to stimulate memory. Pecans are also rich in choline, used for brain optimization and development.
Berries: Berries, especially the darker berries like blueberries and blackberries, are known to be good brain foods. They improve and preserve the machinery of the neurons of the brain, which results to improvement of memory and cognitive skills. They are also beneficial in preventing Alzheimer's disease and dementia occurrence later in life. Blueberries have ellagic acid, a phytochemical known to prevent damage of cells. Strawberries contain antioxidants that improve brain cell communication. The anthocyanins in blackberries are also great in fighting degenerative diseases of the brain.
Other individuals great option is sunflower seed, pumpkin seed products, green tea, eggs, broccoli, tomatoes, red-colored clothing, eggplants, oatmeal, natural yoghurts and sweets.
You know that the food you take affects your body, and most importantly, they can influence even more about how our brain works. What we eat can have a strong influence on our brain, how the mind carries tasks, and our general mood. Our focus here is on these nutrients in foods that improve special neuronal firing and reticulation in the brain.
