There is this saying that 'all men are created equal'. There are some cases that this saying can be completely wrong while this may be true in a lot of cases. Thats why, not all men are created equal and this difference in fashion equality can be among our wildest dreams because many factors can play a role in why some men prefer to wear silk robes other than cotton robes, when it comes to fashion, especially when they are at home and around their wives and family. We are aware that this kind of garment is worn inside the home, outside of the fact that some robes are cotton and some are silk.
For why one man prefers one garment over the other, the reasons can depend a lot on comfort and style. Some males may like how the silk feels on their skin while others may like the comfort of cotton, especially during the colder seasons of the year, while silk robes can provide a much cooler feel on the body during the warmer seasons. Playing its part, style, often gives the man a conscious feeling about how he looks, even when he is at home, and the thought of being decked-out in style while sitting in that favorite chair (Hugh Hefner does it, right?) at home probably makes them feel really well.
In this matter, for any reason, it is not silk robes vs. cotton robes; it mainly comes down to what is stylish for men while sitting at home. Also, there is an added plus to the thought of wearing a robe at home and that is the wife. Yes. Some women like their men dressed for every occasion (just as well as some men like for themselves) and that includes lounging around the house in a silk or cotton robe.
Whatever the preference is going to be, some men may think that silk is better because silk seems to represent some type of status, so they wear it while, on the other hand, cotton robes can be deemed second or, below that of silk material. In the process, then along comes the man whom can wear just about anything and make it look great. In the world, at this time, we will come to the realization that there are both silk and cotton men.
The bottomline is and whether one chooses silk or cotton, it will only matter to the man whom it should matter to - and that's the man who wears the garment.
