It is worth taking the size of your room into consideration as a television screen which is too big may spoil the viewing experience somewhat with people s eyes getting strained. Another good alternative would be to use an LCd projector. If this is the case then you should take care that the room is as dark as possible. If there is the chance of ambient light shining into the room then you should make a point of buying as powerful a projector as possible in order to compensate.
Although the individual components of a home cinema system are relatively expensive, the price can start to mount up you you are investing in a more elaborate setup.
